Best of Kummrow & Steilmann – Two Men, Many Opinions, and Even More Beer
Starting May 9, Dirk Kummrow and Jens Steilmann return to the stage with the best moments from their cult comedy-theater series. “Germany’s oldest boy band” offers sharp and entertaining reflections on middle-aged men, communication crises, wokeness, and musical midlife highlights. Expect laughter, music, and thoughtful musings.

A Musical Mix – from Open Air Singalongs to Folk & Art Pop
On June 14, it’s time to sing together in the Wallanlagen park: the 10th Open Air Singalong Group invites everyone to join in on pop and Schlager classics.
On June 6, young singer-songwriter BJARNE performs at Theater Combinale, offering poetic lyrics and a unique sound blending folk and blues.
EVANTGARDE brings experimental flair on June 20 and 28 – a musical-theatrical journey through chanson, art pop, and psychedelic fairground music.
Experimental Theater & Support for Emerging Artists
On June 29, the group POLYLUX presents a performance that connects sound, imagery, and acting. Graduates from the Ernst Busch Academy showcase their artistic research at the intersection of puppetry, music, and visual storytelling.
BASTA – A Devised Piece by the Spiel.Raum Youth Club
"Everyone talks about Basta – but not with him."
A highly gifted student becomes the focus of a project: he must graduate, ideally with calculus, vectors, statistics, and probability. But Basta has other concerns. Dreamy, headstrong, and full of questions, he loses himself in thought – and yet no one hears him.
The Spiel.Raum ensemble brings "BASTA" to the stage – a moving and honest youth play about pressure to perform, being different, and the need for genuine human connection.
